I'm Back!!!!!!!

I haven't blogged in a while. Things in my life have been in an uproar. My marriage has been struggling and I wasn't in a good place to make my thoughts public. I fear that if I had written things here, I would have later regretted them tremendously.
So, things are being repaired. I'm amazed at how God restores and not just restores, He strengthens and repairs and heals. He makes a situation that our enemy plans to use for our destruction and turns things into a situation in which ONLY God can get all the glory! My God amazes me!
Madison is doing well. I am looking into putting her into the Ohio School for the Blind for next year, although she would love to go for the the rest of this school year if she could!
Madison is in a classroom with 43 other students! When I graduated high school, my class had 42 students in it! She has more students just in her classroom than I did in my entire graduating class. This class size does not work well with a child who is legally blind and has a pretty bad case of ADHD. She needs more one on one attention and the teacher is not able to give that to her. In fact for the last two years we've only run into teachers who get frustrated with Madison, which only discourages her from doing her best.
My daughter is smart and creative. She prefers to use school for social networking rather than learning but most children do! Including me!!!!! I was the exact same way when I was her age (and all the way up thru college!). She deserves the best chance possible for the most successful future.

My job is going SO much better as well. I have a new boss. Well, kind of. My previous boss no longer works for our company and the president of my company became my immediate supervisor! He's the most amazing boss. He certainly has an authoritative tone and commands respect but he's approachable and I can be totally honest with him and he welcomes that. In fact, yesterday I challenged him (respectfully) on something he disagreed with me about and after we thoroughly discussed it, he agreed with my decision but added his perspective on it and the next time I encounter a similar situation I will be able to handle it much better! It's SO great!
I finally feel like I know what I'm doing in this position and feel confident in what I'm doing. It's a wonderful feeling!

So, that's us in a nut shell. I would ask that if the Lord leads you, you would pray for us. We need all the prayer we can get!

Jenni, welcome back to the blog world, and know you have been missed here. I do know what you mean about posting when things are crazy in your life and commend you for knowing your limits and following your heart. I am happy to hear that things are going better for you and your family and will be praying for you that things continue to improve and the Lord continues to guide you and gives you wisdom.
